ANTONIO CAIROLI

The tenth round of the World MXGP this weekend took place on the French circuit of St. Jean d'Angely, on one of the most renowned circuits of the Motocross World Championship. The track, which welcomes the top riders since 1984 saw the eight-time World Champion finish in seventh place Saturday's qualifying race. Started in the lead in the first moto Sunday, on the hard track the Sicilian battled with a good pace, crossing the finish line in third place. In the second start he was unfortunately involved in a crash at the first corner, which forced him to restart dead last. Author of an amazing recovery until the seventh, Tony finished the day with the fourth place overall, consolidating his third place in the Championship.

GLENN COLDENHOFF

Great Grand Prix for Glen Coldenhoff that brings home the best result of the season with a good sixth place. The team mate of Tony Cairoli started as a rocket in the first fraction, with the top three riders of the race. Not yet accustomed to the rhythm of the head of the race, he lost some positions, battling until the last lap for the ninth place. In the second moto Glen started eighth, down to the tenth position and with great determination then launches into a comeback that made him finish fifth, what is his best manche of the year. The Dutch is now tenth in the standings.

GIANLUCA FACCHETTI

France stingy of satisfaction for the young Italian rider, that come from the recent victory in the Spanish Grand Prix seven days ago. In Iberia everything had gone well, while at St. Jean d'Angely track came only twelve points, from the ninth place in race one. Gianluca in the second start, got a great second place and immediately attack, fell, starting last and finishing far away in twenty-fourth position.

HENRY JACOBI

A good race for Henry, who qualified seventeenth after a crash in with someone passed on his hand with the bike. In first moto he still managed to finish in fourteenth place after a good battle in the group of the top 15. In the second half the German has struggled against the pain until the end, finishing in seventeenth place.


GIUSEPPE TROPEPE

Plagued first race with the Honda team JTech for the young Calabrian, that debut this year in the World 250 class. Giuseppe, back from a shoulder injury during a training session it is still not at 100% and after retiring in the first half, did not take the start for the second. Now he will try to recover in these two week break, before the next GP in England.

EMX 250


NICK KOUWENBERG

A French Grand Prix to forget for the reigning champion of the European 250 series. The Dutch rider, put out of the race by a big crash on Saturday, in which he fractured a foot bone, was not able to finish the race on Sunday because of the pain and returns home with no points. Nick is now tenth in the European standings.

FILIPPO ZONTA

Another difficult race for Filippo Zonta which unfortunately is not yet able to show its great potential. Not yet points for him in the standings.
