Steve Ramon has clinched an impressive number of good results in this pre-season, full of prestigious international races: after the third place gained in Mantova and the brilliant runner up spot sealed in Valance, the Bomb has finally exploded, by taking the overall win at the annual Hawkstone Park International; the third and final major pre-season meeting in Europe.

In Heat 1 Ramon, in his brand new AXO Underachiever gear, powered his Suzuki in 3^rd position at the chequered flag, while in heat 2 in true Ramon style the flying Belgian took the lead within a handful of laps. Once out front the Bomb just kept it clean and lead to the end, crossing the line to take both the heat win and the overall win for the day.

Steve Ramon: “I am happy to take the overall win today. In the first moto I battled again with arm pump, and just couldn’t ride as fast as I wanted. The second moto I was more relaxed and felt strong. I have a few things to work on now before Bulgaria, I know I can go faster, and I am just gonna get out and practice a few things this coming week to try and get to the point I am satisfied with.”
