Nothing to do for Romain Lanusse’s rivals in the Stock 600: the AXO rider sealed a fantastic win on Saturday’s race, after clocking the fastest time in qualifying. The French gun took the lead right after the start to keep it until the chequered flag was waved! Courtesy of this win and the runner up spot in Assen, Lanusse leads the provisional chart of the Championship.

Romain Lanusse: “I am very happy of this win in Monza! I have felt comfortable on the bike all week end long, so I knew I could take the win, but it’s been not easy and to climb on the first step of the podium gives me a lot of confidence for the next races!”.

Chris Vermeulen had to call it a day, when on Friday he crashed and suffered a long and deep gash in his left elbow. Swelling around the elbow has also restricted his movement considerably, so a decision has been made that Chris has not attempted to race on Sunday.
